My dad's a professor at USD, and when I was a kid we used to go to basketball games in the old gym. The big rival then was Loyola Marymount. I remember seeing Hank Gathers back then in what must have been one of his last games.

I haven't followed USD much since I moved to Wisconsin. My first year here, USD almost beat Stanford in the tournament. Near the end, the USD-Stanford game was preempted, so I missed the final few minutes. :argh:
