  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Just curious where you guys enjoy your stogies at. I'm having a hard time finding a good place to smoke. I cannot smoke inside due to living in a college dorm and I drive a manual car so I don't feel like smoking in the car and also, it would have to be a long drive. The only good place Ive been able to smoke is if I go to a little restaurant and smoke in there. How about you guys?

Well, I have a house and do most of my smoking on the lanai/florida room/back covered porch, whatever you want to call it. Are there no cigar bars or B&Ms ("Brick and Mortar", a hardsite cigar store) in your area? Those are always good places.

somewhere outisde be it on a deck, patio, porch, backyard, log, bench somewhere. I like to enjoy my stogies outdoors, usually someplace with a good view, or at least good company.

I just can't enjoy a cigar if I'm walking around in the cold. I'm probably in the minority but I almost have to smoke a cigar under a roof of some kind to really enjoy it. Cigars taste totally different to me when I'm smoking in the cold outdoors...just ruins the whole experience and I end up parting ways with the cigar prematurely anyway due to the cold.

As is, I smoke indoors...in my loft. I love to have the aroma fill the room while I cruise the boards and watch the plasma.

Hey Necrodomis,

I started a website specifically to answer your question!

Check it out - www.CigarPlaces.com. Do a search for your city, and maybe you'll find a good spot.

It's all completely user-driven, so if you know of a good place, add it to the map.
