  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

i may have to get some of those. Nice prices. The rey miguel certainly looks very interesting too.

I have to say that i don't much care for thereason behind these sales...becuase DP won't make his cigars anymore?? He's no longer willing to help his friend out. Well, what kind of friend is he being?!?! I'd like to hear DGPs side of the story.

Never heard of them? Pepins on the other hand I can't stop thinking about!
As far as the guy saying that Pepin pulled his line from the store, that sucks! Maybe Pepin wants to go exclusivley through Holt's in the NE...who knows? I'm just speculating.

There was a recent article published on this and it's on the site somewhere...Here it is
Not the exact same thing, but it is related.

I'm sorry the guy feels snubbed, but you gotta do what you gotta do for business.

Which did you order (Blue or Black)?
I ordered the black and it came to $88.54 shipped. Not bad considering they usually go for $110 w/out shipping. That shop is about 20-25 mins away, so I could have went and bought in person, but I almost never have time to go into the city, so I coughed up the shipping!

I'm guessin that's for a reason.

i interpret Black Cats story like this...

Pepin came to US. Black Cat guy meets him. They became friends. Pepin is fresh off the boat from Cuba, where he was in charge of cohiba rolling. Pepin finds himself with a whole world of various tobaccos that he wasn't able to use in Cuba. Pepin selects the best ones he can find. Pepin rolls a great cigar. Pepin produces said great cigar for black cat.

The one review i found says it's good. Black Cat says it's the worlds best.

*****This Just In*****

I just got a call from Blackcat and the Black Label robustos are on a 7-10 day back order :hanghead:

So, me being the Pepin whore that I am, said to substitute them with the 1973 Black Label (Figurado) Bigger, Meatier smoke, but the weather is starting to get nice so I went for it!
