  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Can someone tell me the difference between these two maduro's? I mean other than the $25 price difference and that the O's don't stay in stock longer. My local B&M doesn't have either so I have to wait to try them till i make my next box purchase.

Man it's been a long time. When I first started smoking regularly, I fell in love with Oliva cigars. I have yet to have one that was a disappointment. I like both of these cigars, and may be able to dig out one of each for you. I'll see when i get home. I am for sure on one of them, and will lok for the other. If I only have one, we may be able to find someone with the other to send it so you can compare.

It's been a while since I had an O maduro, but the G maduro has almost an oaky flavor to it about half way through. The only thing I remember about the O maduro was the mountain of blue smoke it produced.

just on a personal note, the g maduros always have that metallic / copper penny taste to them. I never found that on the o's. Since I don't like that flavor, i stick to the O maduros. The cameroon g's however are scrumptious :)

Bummer man, all I have are the Cameroons. Not sure where my maduros went...up in smoke is a good guess. Sorry.

I'm going to be looking for these next week while at the b&m that has most everything. If i find em, i'll pic up extrees.

I would call them and ask, but i've already done that twice today, and i'm sure the guy's going to start recognizing my voice and just hang up on me.

Oh yeah I totally know what your talking about! I was smoking a G maduro early Sunday evening and what do you know it does have a metallic taste. The O's are good but overall nothing I've smoked so far from Oliva can beat the V in my opinion.
