I won a few of these boxes on cbid over the past few weeks, stocking up since garcia wont be doing these anymore. Anyway one of the boxes i got were some lanceros, and they came in the old special edition 2005 box.

I opened the box up and they were covered in white powdery goodness :grin: Since It appeared to be my lucky day, getting an aged box and all, i decided i had to smoke one. Let me just say i was blown away by this stick. One of the best DPG sticks i have ever had. I am not sure if i want to smoke some more or let them age a few more years. As of right now i cant see them getting much better, but there is always the chance that they will.

Anyway has anyone else gotten older boxes from cbid? Is this a rare thing?

I got a box of Montecristo Serie V from them. They also had plumed. They're smooth and very very good cigars.

You sent me a torpedo LE and i had no idea what you were talking about until right now. Mmmmm i am sure that is going to be tasty, i might have to smoke that stick this weekend.

Smoke some and put the others down for a long nap. If I have a box that is smoking good no matter the age I tend to smoke em while they are good.
