  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Its my sisters graduation in in a week and i am looking for two aged cigars. one for me and one for my father. I am looking for either opus, cc or something you think is good for celebration. I dont see my father too much because of his job so i think a nice stick would make for good memories. thanks in advance.

There are a lot of great smokes you can pick up in your local Brick and Mortar that have quite a bit of age on them. Consider Opus X, God of Fire (Carlito my fav), the La Auora Platinum Perferido's. The platinum are great and can be appreciated by a non seasoned smoker, they are very smooth and only about a 30-45 min smoke. These are all memorable smokes worthy of marking a special occasion.

You are however, in the exact point and place of my life when I decided to collect and age notable smokes, so that when special occasions happen I have something that is not only great, but special as well. It dosn't taste better, but smoking something that you can't go out and buy nice.

Many experienced smokers can distinguish an aged premium just bought from one aged a year or two, I can't myself. Talk to your local shop, tell them what you like and get some sugestions.

And of congrats and enjoy your time with your father!

Wow,

I grew up in mid town Missouri, and about would be in about the same boat if I still lived there today. I'm very fortunate that I have several good B&M's close by, and within 70 miles I have dozens. I'm glad to see your getting hooked up.
