Weird Tingly Tongue

I've been playing poker online for the last few hours and I'm not allowed to smoke in the house, so usually I just clip a cigar and suck on it while playing, unlit of course. So today I clipped a Oliva Serie G Special G, short little figurado. I've been working on this thing for hours and my tongue is almost numb! What gives?

Yea, back at Hogwarts School for aspiring Black Ops Squidies we were taught that if you perculate a few packs of smokes and then simmer off the excess liquid you can ruin someone's day.

Tobacco is a plant. People chew it, and smoke it. It's "Bad" for you.

Lettuce is a plant. People eat it. It's "Good" for you.

Here's my questions:

Has anyone ever tried to smoke lettuce?

If so, would it be "Bad" for you?

Why are we not all sitting down for dinner every day eating a big ol' tobacco salad?

Cannabis is a plant we can both smoke and eat, and the effects are very similar. Can you imagine the stomach ache that would follow ingesting tobacco leaves.

Yeah, I don't know anything about cannabis.....

This is weird, but two nights ago I'm on my patio and I light up an Oliva Series G Belicoso. Lo and behold, I get this funny, tingly sensation on my tongue. Tried to tell myelf that I was tasting sort of a peppery tobacco, but I knew that wasn't it. After about 1/2 inch it was gone...weird that Wade would comment on it.

Also, after about 15 minutes it developed an odd, odd taste, almost chemical and I tossed it. :barf:

Beautiful looking little smoke, but it sure went south in a hurry.

According to the W'pedia, Coco: Tomatoes, Potatoes, eggplant and green peppers.

I really like all of those things.

I wonder how many eggplants you have to smoke to equal a churchill size cigar?
