  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I like your list. I don't suppose you were looking for any more cigars to try but I would suggest:

LFD Chizel (I like these better than the Limitados)
Coronado by La Flor
CAO MX2
Fuente OpusX PerfeXion

There's more- I need to check my bags to see what else I have around. I smoke those 4 on a regular basis.

Me too... I've been snubbing out mediums that I used to enjoy these days and going back in to get something with bigger flavor. Can't tolerate a boring (to me) smoke. Not enough time in life to settle for less. There are a lot on that list I have never heard of or seen. I have a new "try" list. Thanks Oscar!

A wrapper that gives a full flavor in an oscuro-like way, not described by the process grading term "oscuro," but by its location of origin, "Mata Fina," which is an area in Brazil that specifically grows dark leaves that many companies use as their wrapper. Mata Fina produces extremely flavorful, aromatic and consistent tobacco leaves. They are sometimes a bit more veiny than many wrappers, but the aromas exuded and rich fullness makes up for any untoward appearance. So, when looking for a good full-flavored smoke, don't overlook a Mata Fina just because you might not be familiar with that term. Dona Flora Mata Fina is a Brazilian puro that features that wrapper and is marketed in the USA and around the world. I don't know if the Brazilian puro, Alonso Menendez Mata Finas are readily available in the states, but they have been my choice of late for enjoying at day's end with a glass of 18 year old Chivas scotch. The combination of those two has become one of life's special treats for me. The aroma, flavor and punch are totally symbiotic.

I'm loveing the illusione mk and hly lance lately, as well as the tat havana series...picked up the red label lancero-ish vitola today, actually a handful. Always a fan of the cojonus and verocus, got some more of those too. Reached for a few more riquezas as well.

San cristobal (ahstons) are on my new list too. Like those a lot.

The coronados are excellent. had my first one about a week or so ago...it was indeed a yummy.

Had an Opus no4 last night that i would considered full flavored.

But to stick with the point of the trhead, i too am liking the med to full flavored cigars.

Here! Here!
