  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Has anyone tried the new Double Maduro Fusion by Rocky Patel (green label)? I happen to like the Blue Label Fusion and I want to try the Maduro one. Just wondering if anyone has tried one yet.

I just received 5 in a sampler pack from Cigars International. Haven't tried one yet, but plan on it soon.

I had one the other night. I thought it was a good smoke. Friend of mine had one and thought it was a bit spicey but I didn't get that at all. Definitely give it a try.

I tried one of the RP Fusion MM (Double Maduro). Before continuing, I am a huge Rocky Patel fan, so this may be a bit biased.

Anyway, I would recommend this cigar! It has a very smooth draw, burns nicely, lots of smoke, and a definite cocoa flavoring all the way thru. I tasted hints of leather and toast. It was a pretty complex flavor, but consistent throughout.

The cocoa flavoring is not as chocolate as the Drew Estate Java, more on the lines of a sweet espresso or dark chocolate. If you are looking for a spicy, peppery cigar, this is NOT it. But if you want a semi-sweet, complex, tasty stick, then light one up!! You won't be disappointed.

Had the MM tonight, lit well and I was looking forward to it, seemed very acidic on the middle of my tounge. Smoked the whole thing but not my first choice. Maybe I have just been smoking weaker sticks.
