I totally agree! Except the "G" in God should be capitalized.Pete Johnson is a god!

I like short reviews.
That's unbelievable! These do not sell at my B&M. I think I might be the only one buying them.
I think he meant to spell it the other way....DOG!!! Vegas was too much fun...:wink:I totally agree! Except the "G" in God should be capitalized.
But yes, the LA Ricky's are a freakin' fantastic smoke. Pete was gracious enough to give me a handful at the show, I've yet to smoke one since I got home as we won't get ours in at the shop for a couple months. I'll have one tomorrow when I go to work though. Damn fine smoke.
Pete my friend, not even close, as a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure we had this conversation in Vegas.I think he meant to spell it the other way....DOG!!! Vegas was too much fun...
In what way are they so drastically different?Personally, I was shocked to find just how different the La Riqueza cigars are in comparison to the Tatuaje line -- so much more a radical departure than the Cabaiguan line was. I can La Riqueza appealing to a totally different audience of cigar smokers than the Tatuaje line.
I've smoked several now, and while I like it a lot, I still haven't come completely to grips with how different this cigar was to my expectations. I guess I didn't think that dark Connecticut Broadleaf would alter that typical Nicaraguan-puro cigar flavor so much. I mean, the shade grown Connecticut wrapper on the Cabaiguan didn't make this much of a change...so it's gotta be the way the filler was blended, right?
Pete did an expert job creating this cigar, and obviously Pepin made them as well as anyone in the world possibly can make cigars. But I'm going to smoke a few more before I do a formal review myself--you know, to just get over this initial shock!
LOL okemyeye
Wade, I know just what you mean! But I reserve the cap "G" exclusively for someone else:grin:I totally agree! Except the "G" in God should be capitalized...
Thanks for the tip! I`ll try that on the next one....And to everybody who has smoked these -- do you exhale a bit of the smoke through your nose? These cigars are a million times better if you do, and there's no ligero in them so it's not harsh at all.
TYLER
I`ll wait until I`ve met you in person before I make up my mind on that one. FWIW, many of the finest individuals I`ve known were dogs... some literally - some figuratively.I think he meant to spell it the other way....DOG!!! Vegas was too much fun...
IMO...In what way are they so drastically different?
