  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I just thought I'd post this up here too. I remember when I was looking for pictures of these a while ago no one had a good close up of the cigar "tattoo" so I took one today. I received a couple from a great BOTL in Belgium off another board. So here's a pic that I think came out pretty well showing off the unique wrapper marking.

Gale it's the first of three releases from Oliva in the Master Blends line. The successive years have a big 2 and a 3 on the bands. The MB2s have the wrapper etching as well but the MB3s do not.

I heard it's a laser etch. I'm not exactly sure though.

That's kinda what i thought, MBI. Looks good. I like the look of th lghter wrapper. The MB III is just too dark for my preference.

I'll put a pic up comparing all three wrappers give me a sec. As you can see there really isn't a big difference between the wrappers. The MB1 seems to have a bit more of red hue to my eyes and it's visible in the pics.

I believe that's the OneOff portable ashtray. the cradle comes off and it stores flat in a leather case. One of the fine Brothers here fabricated soem good looking knock offs for us. The brass is different, because it DOES STAIN, and gives each one it's own mancave signature design on it. There are some good pictures in this thread right here.

Dave is right it's the Oneoff. While I was home in July I stopped at the CI SuperStore after staying the night at my brothers house. I saw them in the case for $25 or something and since elsewhere I was only able to find them at $100 I couldn't pass it up.
