Very very cool chuck. Awesome storyOur local B&M has the Jim Reed Cigar. Jim was one of those iconic guys that you could always count on to be at the shop. A mason by trade he owned his own business and drove very fast BMW's motorcycles when harleys became too slow for him. Jim had a long gray beard, tats on both arms and would scare the hell out of you if you ran into him on a dark street and didn't know him. But if you knew him you knew he would give you his last cigar or the shirt off his back if you were in need. Jim passed away quite suddenly making one last trip to the shop between chemo treatments just to smell the smoke from the cigars. He left a wife and two young kids behind. The Jim Reed cigar is something really special. Oh it tastes OK but all profits go to a fund to put the kids through college. We keep a picture of Jim up in the shop to remind us that cigars are made to be smoked today because sometimes tomorrow just isnt guaranteed.
Some of you have received these from me. They come with a small picture of a tough looking dude with a long grey beard. Enjoy them.
