If you wanted it, you should have placed your MAX BID (in other words, youre "top dollar") in the first place...then eBay would automatically proxy bid for you and prevent these snipers from beating you (unless, of course, they really are willing to pay more than your "top dollar").

Listen, there is no rational reason to place multiple bids, or to sit there and try to follow an auction online, when there's a built-in proxy bidding service in eBay.

If you want something, think about what your Honest-to-God "top dollar" for it would be, and make that your bid. Then just let eBay do the rest.

I don't ebay a lot. I just happen to come across that opus 22 box thought it would be sweet to get. I bid at $18.00 and that Phucktard bid $18.50, like 20 seconds before it closed. what a pisser I tell ya. maybe someday another Opus 22 box will come around.

I'll stick to c-bid atleast there it's still somewhat fair.
They have Auto bid so you put in what you can afford and hope for the best.

Start contacting some of the older Cigar B&M's and make an offer to them about the box you want.
