  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Gents,
Now that I am back on my feet I encountered another mystery cigar at the shop. Actually, I did not get to see it but just heard about it. A customer was asking about a cigar manufacturer with the acronym USCE, it was written on the bottom of the box and also said it was from Esteli Nicaragua. It was a cab of 50 unbanded salomons from an unidentified time period. I know this is vague but i figured maybe someone had seen or heard of these. Apparently the construction is flawless, almost no veins on the wrapper and they came in a cubed box in 5 rows of 10. Anyone have any idea what these might be?

I thought all Camachos were Honduran (minus the CBL on the Select or SLR one of the two) and since the box said Estali, that Christian would be out. Please correct me if I'm wrong... this just has me intrigued, because I have been racking my brain.

I guess I was asking if all Camachos were Honduran, more than trying to disprove Robs instinct... the force is strong with that one! I simply was trying to figure out what else they could be, but the only thing I could come up with the description from the OP was something out of the El Credito factory in Miami.... they are responsible for producing LGC (which have Figurado Reservas as well as the Serie R Limitadas - tray style boxes), but since they are from the DP, I again draw a blank.

I'm not deeply routed in cigar family heritage, so I'm not sure if Ernesto Carillo has any ties to Nicaragua, produces custom rolls out of that factory or used that tobacco in the past.

Oh well... I guess I'm running in circles.

There are a lot of cigars coming from Tabacalera Esteli, some still going and others are gone. It's probably not a Eiroa, I just put that in there cause it fit.

I was thinking that Eiroa did a Nic once or twice before, but after looking up the Jericho, they moved it to Honduras after they bought it.
