I'll admit I'm spoiled.

But I prefer the vendor who limits how many you buy to give everyone a chance to try a limited stick rather than intentionaly over-charge just because a few people will pay it.

I've been out to sea... <G> The Anejo's here at Cigar Cigar were ranging from $8.50 to $12 depending on size. The Sharks were $11... <G>

A couple weeks ago a shop called me to say they got in some Anejo Sharks, BTLs, and Hemmingway Maduros. Passed on the BTLs but I picked up the Sharks for a shocking $12 and the Hemmingway for $9.50.

I prefer a limit myself! Sure wish I had found some WOAM. My region got BTL's an assortment of the Anejo 46,49, Sharks and Hemmingway Maduro Masterpiece. Picked some up but found no WOAM! I guess there is always next year.

I prefer no limit and fair prices. It is funny that certain shops won't sell you a box of say Opus all at once. Thats why I like my shop. I want to buy the whole cab of 40 super belis, he sells me the cab of super belis.

Yeah, I just think it is funny when B&Ms get ethics. It's like going to McDonalds and asking for all their McRibs... Limited edition, only come out once a year. They never tell you no. I do the research, make the calls, mark my calendar. Why can't I buy what I wish? It's a puzzler.

I was just saying that I would rather a retailer limit the quantity purchased rather than double the MSRP in the name of giving opportunity to more patrons - when it really is a case of opportunists making a quick buck.

Chuck - those prices are a bit high, but not outrageous.

A BTL for $35 or a Hemingway maduro for $25 is outrageous.

That's a good price for a full box of Sharks.

My b&m has BTL's for $15.25/stick. Two years ago they were $8.00/stick. Personally I would rather have a WOAM.

I bought Sharks at less than $10/ ea. at two different shops. Each had limits however. I bought my limit at each. I've found the BTL's at $14, $19 & finally $35. I passed at $14 & now wish I had snatched a few- never had one.
