  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hey guys, I don't usually plug to many products but I wanted to mention this stuff for anyone who has a lot of razor bump problems and stuff like that. I recently picked up a tube of C.O. Bigelow Premium Shave Cream from Bath and Body works. I've been a headshaver for about 5 years now and just actually started the laser hair removal process as I like the idea of being permanently bald. Anyway, I used to use shave oil and Headblade cream, but this C.O. stuff is the best shave cream I've ever used. This post might be more useful for headshavers like Wade and I but I figure anyone who regularly shaves might wanna try this stuff out. It's imported from Italy, and I guess it's the #1 shave product in Italy. Try it out! It's the best shave I've ever had.

Forgot to add, make sure it's the stuff in the metal tube, the premium cream. They sell stuff in cans that is no good.

I agree Jason. I use this to shave my face pretty regularly...it's good stuff. If any of you use the old fashioned brush and mug method, it's hard to beat this stuff with a brush.

FYI, one of the reasons it's so good is it is actually Proraso shave cream, repackaged for C.O Bigelow. Proraso has been around forever and is widely considered one of the best. Actually, selling it under the C.O name and at Bath and Body just makes it even easier to get over here in the states.

Anyway, I agree, give it a whirl if you're sick of you're current stuff.

Good stuff, I forgot to mention it's made for C.O. from an outside company in Italy. C.O. is actually an apothecary based out of NY...they make a lot of skin care products based on natural ingredients and this stuff doesn't really follow their usual MO but it's great.

I use the face cream for oily skin, works well and has spf.
I tried that stuff, but it's white clay based and leaves a residue behind especially noticeable near any facial hair/eyebrows. That white clay doesn't absorb in the skin, but rather stays on the surface to absorb oil. I had issues with that stuff behing noticeable. You don't?

OK, I was cool with the shaving cream thing, now we're getting into face creams and noticeable residues...again, coming from a MI brother. Am I in the right forum, did I accidentally click on the Cosmetics For Men Forum? :dunno: :hysterica
