  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Would you smoke it?

Some very interesting responses. The cigar wasn't actually in the ash tray, just hanging on the edge, (as if that makes a difference). I was tempted to try it since the game wasn't over and I wanted to watch a little more of it. In the end, I wondered how good it would have to be to prevent me from gagging and decided there was no way some stale, 1/8 smoked stogie could be that good. Can you imagine smoking this and trying to detect flavors? What kind of tricks would your mind play on you? Plus how bad would it be if it turned out to be a fake? Although, I decided not to smoke it, I'm surprised only 2.5 people here would. I wonder how many would on other cigar boards???

I have to say, the thought would never cross my mind to pick up a partially smoked cigar, relight it and start toking away. Hell, it could be an Opus Maduro BBMF and I'd let that sucker lie...I may cry, but I wouldn't pick it up and smoke the bastage.

Although I am biased and say that botl.org is more of a refined class of guys, we are spread out over various boards. The cross section you'll find here is pretty typical of the rest of the online community.

If you found a board that would actually have the majority say Yes, that's one board I probably would not hang out at much.
