CORONADO Cigar

Has anyone had a chance to taste these things?

They're okay, but I much prefer the La Flor branded stuff and much much prefer the Litto Gomez banded stuff... <G>

They are pretty good especially if you can find the thinner RG stuff.

I assume that we are talking about the Coronado by La Flor. Fantastic smoke. Balanced, light, creamy. Strength is a POWERHOUSE. This thing sneaks up on you because it is so easy to smoke. Don't be expecting to want to go anywhere when you are finished.

I would recommend the Double Toro or the Double Corona.

I assume that we are talking about the Coronado by La Flor. Fantastic smoke. Balanced, light, creamy. Strength is a POWERHOUSE. This thing sneaks up on you because it is so easy to smoke. Don't be expecting to want to go anywhere when you are finished.

I also had my first when they had just come out, so it was strong to me then. I had a 6x60 I think with not much to eat. I will say you two do smoke a little more stronger cigars more often that I. But a good cigar.

I love em. They're my go to golf cigar because they're strong enough to taste on the course. And yes, I do think they're strong, but all the LFDs are. That's their thing. They aren't a DL or anything, but they're more than a Fuente/Tat/Pepin. Maybe not some of the Tats, but most of the main line stuff.

Its not you its me. I used to think many cigars were strong. Now not so much. The LFD Double Ligero Chisel still makes my head swim. :rofl:

The only cigar that ever made me puke was an LFD :barf: But of course, I continued to smoke it even after I hurled. :grin:

I think the Coronado is pretty good, and while I don't think I'd call it "mild" it's certainly mild in comparison to most other LFD sticks.
