i would have to say that the ability to judge a cigar by only smoking the first quarter of it is the most ludicrous thing i've ever heard.

The ROBB reposrt has listed gurkha a few times as the cigar of the year. I don't trust anyone's opinion when it comes to the cigar of the year, especially when you get paid to review smokes.

It was a blind test, they didn't get to see the band, the box or the lady under the table helping them decide. Geeez I hope it was a lady!

I just want to know why the "experts" didn't have a cow when they were told they would smoke 1/4 of ten different cigars back to back and pick a winner. So what is the finish like on that?

It doesn't make sense. That tarnishes any respect I would have for the publication. Maybe it is being catered to people who don't really smoke to enjoy a cigar, but to people who like to hold a cigar, take a couple of puffs, and throw it away.

That's exactly it. I don't think the reviews can be real smokers either because no smoke in my to 50 could I put down after an inch. They must have brought in the wine critics to do the tasting
