  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So I'm very much a cameroon fan at the moment and both of these sticks were recommended to me recently by a Brother or two. If I were to buy only one type which one would y'all suggest. From what I can tell they are both pretty similar but it appears that the grand age may have a more limited production run and more age on each stick. So what's the verdict?

Ah yes, I love to do that but I haven't been able to find 5 packs of either...just bundles of 10 or 12. If you've got a source, let me know!

Hey Bull, 5packs of Gurkhas including these can be found on cigarbid.com every single day!

I personally like all of the Gurkha Cameroons (which also include the Class Regent Nepalese Warrior--which is also great), and have won 5-packs of each for $15 or less!!! You may have to be a little patient to win Grand Age at that price, but it can be done.

My advice, though, when you win some is to let them sit for a while. You can smoke one right away if you wish, but letting them rest a couple months will improve them greatly.

Some people like Gurkhas, some don't. But if you do, they're a great and nicely priced (on cigarbid) mid-range premium cigar.

Thanks for the advice, njstone. From what I understand about Gurkhas they make some great cigars but many don't think they're worth full retail, hence their popularity on CI and cbid. I can't wait to try some!

Yea, Gurkhas have inflated MSRPs--no one pays that for them. Even shops that carry them will charge much less (maybe $15 instead of $30). The Grand Age, Centurian, etc. definately aren't worth $30 or whatever, but they're worth $5...and since you can get them for about $3...
