iPhone - 'CigarSnob'

Don't get too excited, it doesn't exist. BUT, i'm thinking about doing something of this sort. For those not in-the-know, WineSnob is an iPhone app that lets you track wines you've tasted, notes, pairings, etc. I know this has been talked about on other boards, and is *supposedly* being worked on by others, but who knows....and besides, its good to have options when it comes to software. Anyway, anyone here nerdy enough (and have an iphone of course) to use something like this? What would you want to see feature-wise? I'm learning the whole iphone sdk architecture from the ground up so its not something i can knock out in a week, but I think it would be nice to have.

You are correct about there being a previous thread. I just wanted to re-open the topic, last post was before x-mas.

This is something I would tackle on my own, for the challenge and the learning. I'm going to learn to use the SDK no matter what (I've been dabbling in coding since middle school), just a matter of where I apply it.

I think it is called tasting notes, I am not looking at my phone right now. It will do tasting notes for cigars, coffee, wine, beer, tea, ect..

But if some one were to make a free BOTL app( the bove is $4.99) I would switch.

that would be a great idea. especially if we could read the reviews on a webpage or something so i can check it while at the local b&m to help me decide on a smoke.
