  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I think I have a new favorite..

Well last night I decided to light up the Ashton VSG that was sittin in my humidor. I heard a lot about them but hadn't tried one yet and was kind of excited to. Had a very nice draw and one of the most unique flavors/tastes of any cigar my noob self has had. I was highly impressed, though sadly I don't see a stock up on these anytime soon as they are a bit over my budget at the moment.

Thumbs up to Ashton for the VSG. I can now forgive them for not impressing me with the ESG. Lol.

It was either the Ashton VSG Belicoso No. 1...or the torpedo.

Im sure it was bigger than the #1 but it sounds more like the #1 as far as flavor profile is concerned....

you may as well keep that title handy. chances are, the more you smoke, the more new favorites you're gonna get! and that is NOT a bad thing!

You are on the money... the VSG has a great profile with rich, creamy smoke.... the spice will mellow with age and creates a very nice complexity that I enjoy. Really prices on these guys aren't that bad... I picked up a box of VSG Illusions for 181 bucks off of Cbid (that's a box of 24, so $7 a stick) whereas my local has these for 240 (something) a box. There is also a place that sells em for 195 (IIRC) online...

I love the VSG line. The only problem is that they come with no cello. And the wrapper can be fragile. At my cigar lounge i make sure to look it over before purchasing. Its not the stores fault but some people don't care how they handle the product.
