  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I haven't had one of these for a while. I decided that tonight it would be a good choice. Damn! I can't figure out exactly why, but I think that these are one of, if not my favorite smokes. I'm sh!t for identifying flavors, but I love how smooth these things are. This is only the 3rd one I've had, but I think I need a box.
Not that it matters to me, but what is your take on these?:peace:

These are my absolute Favorite smokes. It ranks as #1 on my Top 5 List. Every single SW I have smoked has been a 1st class smoking experience. This is the single most box worthy cigar on the NC market imo. I posted a review on my blog a while back. It's here.

i've got a few that have been laying down for a while now. Havne't smoked one yet tho0ugh, just seems difficult for me to find the time necessary. I have had the J21 and the Cojonus and if this one is anything like those, which i'd bet it is, then i know it's a goodun.

Nice blog btw. I like it. Been a while since i've seen it.

I find them to be way different from the J21s and Cojonus. The J21 have a loose draw and what I call briary flavors, Cojonus tend to be stronger and more in the licorice realm. Every time I light up an SW I think to myself, "What's wrong? I thought this was one of my favorite sticks, but this one seems pretty light. Where's the spice? Where's the flavor? I must have gotten a bad stick. After an inch I'm getting a hint of the flavors I remember, Smoooooth leather and a bit of nuts. Another inch and it's "Dang this stick is pretty good". Another inch, "Damn this is great". By the time I reach the end, I need to change my shorts.

your blog is something i always look at when trying to decide whether or not to get a particular stick. i'm actually disappointed when the cigar in question isn't there.

I'v eonly got 3 of them and for some reason i have trouble letting my stock in certain sticks get below 3. Don't ask me why, because i don't know.

I've never had a Reserva SW...with all these glowing reviews, they sound great!

And I'm with you, bball on not wanting my stock to drop below 3. In fact, if I only have 2 of a stick I will probably not smoke one unless they are on special or something and I'm trying to decide whether to buy.

It's kind of silly when you're not talking about irreplaceable sticks...if you drop below 3 you can always trade for more. But I do the same thing, lol.

Hey Matt, you are a big reason I got into Tats and this review specifically convinced me to buy some SWs. Thanks for the push down the slope!
