  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Wasn't there a rumor of Pete releasing The Frank again...maybe under a different name...in October when the next monster series comes out?

Pete was talking about releasing the Boris which will be similar to the Frank (in some way) but more available. I'm not sure if he is still planning this or not. I think he is slowly releasing his brown label line with CT broadleaf wrappers. The problem being not enough wrappers to go around and apparently some company is fighting him for the wrappers.

The next monster will be the Drac!

The Boris was suppossed to be larger production of the Frank in a different vitola if I'm not mistaken. Still a one time release, just larger production. Then again, the Drac seems like it will be larger production alone...

here they are!!!! can't wait for lunch cause one is gonna be dessert!!
See! You can kinda see the crystals I was talking about in these pictures. they are very light and evenly dispursed. If you get these things in the right light they have a glittery effect. Of course I had been drinking last night...

It could just be flecks from the foil printed on the bands. It probably doesn't burn either so that's why you saw it in the ash. Rub the "reserva" band and see if any comes off on your finger.

I could be, but this was at the foot and througout the cigar. It extended into the ash. Very interesting!

Wow-flavor bomb indeed.
A delicious full flavored blend which is rich, smooth, and not overpowering.
Dark cocao, medium roast coffee, and beans. (whatever the f@%k that means ) Pete has a winner and a keeper with this cigar
Wish i had bought more...:closedmou

In the all-time top ten, so far..
Much stronger than the Frank, but not quite as strong as you would think. The Maduro wrappr acts to mellow the blend and takes on a noticable creaminess that is a little less promenant than in other blends. Sometimes things are greater than the sum of it's parts. This is one of them.

I checked last night to make sure...
But I stand by my statement that this is what the Cohiba Maduro 5 wishes it could be.

Got mine last night.
First a pic of why guys shop at NHC. The packaging is 2nd to none! Everything as usual Humidipacked, foodsaver sealed, bubble wrapped, packing peanuts in box. 2nd if I'm ordering a few boxes and theres something I have not tried I always ask for a sample. I asked for 1 sample of the NHC EL he sent me 4. Last time I ordered 3 boxes of Tats last year, Dan sent me almost the whole lineup of Angeles to try, I asked for 1 also.

Next pic is of the chest being opened!

Last a close up of 1 one of the most sexy, dark, and chocolate looking cigars Ive ever laid my eyes on.

Wade and Hardcore yours are enroute as of today post dcs later.
