I was reading a book and it was saying that it's a cigar rolled by a voodoo tribe, and if you smoke it and make a wish then it will come true or only partly true.

I seriously doubt this, mostly because vodun as a religion (vodun is the actual name for voodoo), spawned in Africa and from there went to SOUTH America and not CENTRAL, where the tobacco use was important.
