What's yer favorite cocktail/mixed drink?

So, we might enjoy wine, beer or spirits straight; but sometimes we want a martini, or a chocolatini whilst wearing a pink hat and chaps (not that ANY member here does that). The point here is to see what some members like.

I like several, first to come to mind right now would be:

• Mojito (just 1 tsp. sugar, please)
• Daiquiri (not fruity ones; the one they fix at La Floridita with rum, sugar and lime)
• Caipirinha
• Gin and tonic
• Martini
• Old Fashioned
• Whiskey Sour

Margaritas are the only mixed drink with tequila I can have. I like the thing alone (no lime nor salt either...for that I'd rather a margarita with a cheaper tequila).

absolut mandarin/soda/splash cran. fruity but good.

In the summer I love a Salty Dog. Also love a Dirty Blue Goose Martini with a blue cheese olive. Recently discovered I like a Black and Tan (is that a cocktail?) Used to drink Tanqeray and Tonic all the time. Its hard to beet a Cuba Libre while on the beach. But of course (although not actually a cocktail) Jack Black on the Rocks is my favorite.

I agree. I had a Cabo Wabo Respesado at the Luxor last night. Very smooth!

right there with ya. but when it comes to shots, i only do those if im around people i know.... we all have a tequila story.... i have tequila STORIES

That's why ye sip it. Only teens (wait...then what am I?) take "shots" of it, or vodka. :thumbsup:

Nothing along the standards. It's not often I mix things so I think there are only 4 that I will touch.
Rum water and lime
Bourbon and 7 (I know it's a shame to do that to good bourbon)
Rye and ginger
Caesar's gotta get your veggies in somehow.

Black Label or Jack... of course with Sprite and Monster!!
or with red bull @ clubs that do not have monster (no sprite with red bull)
Black Label on ice (sometimes... once in a never)
Tequila... Patron, no training wheels required (lime and salt) but sometimes it's good for body shots (gives you more places to put your mouth on the girl)

I like fruity mixed drinks, like Pina Coladas and Margaritas. If you've got a problem with that, suck it!

I also like pouring some Tatoo in my Coke, Malibu in my Mt. Dew, and Amaretto Sours.
