The Punch will peak sooner according to what I've read. The 898s only get better the longer they stay put..... how patient are you. I know I'm not as patient as I think I am when I see beautiful cigars looking up at me......

I forgot to mention that I'd posed that question to one of our vendors recently and the suggestion was that given the choice between '07 and '08 898s, to go with the '08s. I also picked up a box of '07 Punch Punch to help distract me from opening the 898s since I get the impression that the Punch reach their optimal flavor sooner where the 898s should be held for at least 5 yrs (7 to 8 even better).
