Anybody try these yet? Short filler from Don Pepin. I got the ~6x44 vitola. I just lit my first and it definitely has the Pepin taste, even on a retrohale. I'll say more once it's finished. By the way, only $2.50 at my B&M!!

I'm getting a weird taste in the middle (similar to what the review discussed), nothing too obnoxious, though. Still tastes very 'Pepin'.

I had a Partagas #1 cc tonight and it was very sweet...like a sweet vanilla soda with earth tones...nice....also had my first CAO America which I think may be my favorite CAO yet!

And you really do need to try those new Illusione "Cuchillos Cubanos," they're my current favorite stick at the $3.50 retail price point. If you like Illusiones, try them.

Not a big fan of the short filler, but I did smoke this one and man for a $2-$3 stick it is great! I punched it which I am not a big fan of either but it helps with the short filler. I didn't find myself spitting bits the whole time so it must work..

it's not all short filler. I think its 60/40 or something like that. That'll help with the bits.
