I remember watching cooking show about cooking facts/myths and they said that the liquor never really gets cooked out fully

I was watching the same show. After 2 hours of sauteing you may only have evaporated 60% of the alcohol.

Have you guys every tried Jeremiah Weed? It's 100 proof bourbon. Usually can only find it in liquor stores around air force bases. GREAT STUFF!
