Here are some GEMS i am constantly listening to (sorry if i repeat...there were 11 pages, and since music is such a passion of mine, i jumped to reply)

Beach House - Teen Dream (very nice, smoked a cigar to this the other night, very good background music)
Black Hollies - Softly Towards The Light (very hollies, kincks...they used to be the 5 piece Jersey City greatest rock band of the 90's and 2000's Rye Coalition. Download their album, On Top, genius!)
Camera Obscura - My Maudlin Career (2 girls 2 guys and friggin' brilliant!)
Cave Singers - Welcome Joy (Best folk band to come out in YEARS. Amazing record and great to smoke to.)
Jay Reatard - Watch Me Fall or Blood Visions (Fun punk, who gives a rats ass music. 1,2,3,4 punk songs from a crazy nutjob, fun!!!!)
Phoenix - Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix (the album title is ballsy, but seriously, as my favorite record of 2009, this catchy, guitar driven over poppy beats is a MUST and stands up to the name)
Sondre Lerche - Heartbeat Radio (not his best, but still great. Download anything by him and you will get the gist of his style, but Two Way Monologue proves his potential and climbs passed skyscrapers)

7 bands for now, and if you guys do wind up "listening" anyway you can, let me know what you think. Some of them are friends (from other bands i've toured with Rye Coalition or Pretty Girls Make Graves) and would love to know what you think.

Enjoy!

"All the Nations Airports" by Archers of Loaf and "Blood Money/Alice" by Tom Waits.
BRILLIANCE! I know so so so so so many people who can't stomach All The Nations Airports since it was their attempt at "major label blah blah blah"...but this tour was great and the album is great, and mostly of what this band and Eric Bachman became in the next 10 years of this record was great. Archers are the one band i would DO ANYTHING to see reunite one more show. Them and Velocity Girl for now!

Tom Waits, no he can never do any wrong!
