Sometimes all you have time for is a small cigar, but it should still be a great cigar. What's your favorite small cigar (I'm thinking petite robusto or smaller) and Why is it your favorite?

I really enjoy the DPG black la Perla because it's a good spicy cigar with pop... It tastes great, smokes perfectly and never disappoints. The box price is reasonable too, so I can always have them around.

Cohiba Pequenos. To me these are one of the only readily available small cigars that actually taste like the larger sizes. It also burns cool for a small cigar. But, I'm not a fast smoker.

I too love small smokes (and the DPG La Perla), and now with the new baby I'm pretty much locked into a small-smokes-only mode for at least the next 5-6 months or so. I'm probably going to put up a trade request for some, actually. I like a lot of the ones mentioned here, as well as a few more:

Trinidad Reyes
Boli pc (hit and miss for me)
R&J pc (hit and miss for me)
5 Vegas Gold Nugget (good cheapie)
CAO Italia pc
CAO Brazilia pc
Oliva "Special G"

For spicier ones, since it seems like that might be what you're after:
Tatuaje Angeles
601 Red (cant' remember the name of their tiny one, but it's great)
601 Green corona

But I am REALLY REALLY REALLY looking forward to the Tatuaje Verocu #5 ... when is that little guy coming out, anyway?

It depends on the time of day, morning, Ramon Allones small club corona or a Partagas short is a great starting point. If it is afternoon or after dinner, FFOX 5 or Padron 1926 no.35. I have been known to get frisky and lite up a FFOX 5 for breakfast if that is all I can get in for the day. Great thread, I am going to enjoy seeing how this shapes up.

There has been countless threads like this. But lately my fav short smokes have been the Opus Power Ranger, Padron 26 35. And in the past two weeks I have been going with a lot of old stuff from for the car rides back and forth to work.

I prefer the Short Story, although today I had a Fuente Cubanito that was just the right size for a quick smoke!

Nestor Miranda Coffee Break (both wrappers).

And, if using the larger sizes as a gauge, the El Triunfador #5 may become my new favorite small smoke.
