Pete was in town and was able to get him to sign the boxes. Two of those are for buddies but the collectors box is all mine.

They are awesome! The cigars in the collectors box are a dark wrapper and completely smooth, whereas the cigars in the retail (lighter box) box are a bit lighter wrapper and spicy at first then smooth throughout. No idea why, perhaps a different blend or just my palate.

The unlucky 13 got some of the regular boxes too.

All of the dates are rough estimates.

The same cigar can always have slight color variations from box to box. When workers are putting cigars in the boxes, they sort them to make sure all the cigars in the same box look identical.

The Face are all the same blend and wrapper from the dress box to the standard boxes. If yours look different, I'm guessing it's for the reason I said above.

Any of you high on a list and still waiting?

I am on several lists and was told I was within the numbers on boxes received but have not heard anything. I wonder if they are waiting until the day of to call or just decided to go a different route with distribution.

I was wondering the same, I know that I am in the top 5 in at least 2 stores.... It would really piss me off to find out some shops were taking numbers, names and emails (with some taking payment info) and not even calling people back to tell them they went a different route. If that is the case, obviously they wont see me attempt to be a return customer.

That happend with several places last year, to me and others. And that's all I have to say about that :tiphat:
