  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Anyone who got one of these, would you care to put up some pictures, or some input? I've just bought one from Ron... He compared it to the Cigar Caddy 18ct, however I see a few Aesthetic differences (IE: The CC clasps from the bottom up, the one I got from Ron [In pictures, I'm waiting for it to ship] Clasps from the top down, The CC has a pressure release valve, the one from Ron releases pressure when you pop the clasps, etc)

So, can anyone put up some pictures of and feedback on these things to help with my minimal patience?

Thanks, guys!
Jeremy

It might also be worth mentioning that I asked Ron to include the Green Sponge humidifier so that I could gut it and fill it with Heartfelt Beads (65% RH... I did the same thing to both of my 5ct Cigar Caddy, and cigars stay perfect in those for weeks at a time)... Ron is great to work with, quick to reply, and eager to please. Color me happy.

well you bought it so it'll be there soon enough. I know Ron is not selling substandard products, but I liked the screw valve on the cigar caddy version a lot. If this one works by just flipping the latches, then that's fine. maybe it's just a small plug that is attached to the lever on the latch. That seems like it woul be just as easy, with no chance of losing the thumb screw on the caddy.

I'm pretty sure that, yes, it works like a plug on the clasp... That's the look of it from the few pictures I've found. I was actually just curious about the aesthetics... Wondering how the whole thing looked

Yeah, I saw those... They only show the interior, though... I wanted to knw what the outside looked like, just for the sake of knowing.

Cheers,
Jeremy

I know this much, they look like a gun case. And when you walk in to the HR dept carrying one and ask the HR director if she wants to see what is inside. She will immediately look for the nearest exit.
