Not quite. The govt treats things differently when you screw with them. Since he is basically federal property (with the way they handle you), it should be a federal issue. If you carry a gun into a post office it's a big deal because its considered federal property. How is that different than a UPS office? It just is and I think killing a serviceman, especially one in uniform, while not in combat should constitute the same criminal hunting emotions as when a law enforcement officer gets killed.
