Although I've enjoyed going to the smoking rooms at local B&Ms It's starting to wear thin. I go to enjoy good conversation, not to:

Look at porn on were web enabled phone.
Hear in explicit detail what you would do to any semi good looking female that happens to walk into the store.
Hear what you did in bed last night to your latest date.
Hear you talk about the guy that just left and how/why he's strange.
Get dragged into your political debate. (I don't mind them going on, just leave me out of it)


I'm almost to the point I'm thinking of investing in some bose head phones, lol.

I'm the 20 year old at the B&M, so to avoid any judgement based on stereotypes I refuse to comment on anything on that list besides politics (my minor) unless asked directly.

besides, I wouldn't want to make the guys jealous when I talk about what I did to my woman last night :rolling:...remind 'em of the good ol' days...

though I do enjoy givin' 'em hell when they talk about the limits their wives places on them.

Flyboy, take the bull by the horns. Engage them in discussion you are interested in. Show them who you are. Justin is right, it is normal guy talk. Well, I'm in the army so we quit being "normal" a long time ago. But, while we do talk about some very inappropriate stuff sometimes, only a nucklehead would continue to blather about stuff you arent interested in. So take the high road. Steer it where you think it should go. Be a positive change. Complaining would just remind them of the nag they went to the B&M to get away from.

i understand that this is guy talk. i can deal with a little of it in a joking manner the way guys have done for countless generations.
