Even if the Sox win this game and the Skanks manage to pull off an extra innings win, I don't like our chances at all in the first round regardless of who we play. In any case, I still have faith. I just hope to God that the Sox make no knee-jerk reactions. Do not drop Francona and do not fire Epstein. Both are an incredible combination of GM and Manager. They work well together. Epstein had a really off couple of years in picking up players, but he needs a chance to redeem himself. Same goes for Tito.

This is what worries me.....
I'm not sure either one is safe. Tito is gonna get crucified for the way the Sox limped through September then fell on their collective faces, and Theo has an enormous Lackey/Crawford shaped bullseye on his back.
Fortunately Francona doesn't have that signature fuck-up that Grady Little had in 2003.
Fortunately Epstein hasn't proved himself a monumental idiot like Duquette.
So who knows......
