  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Beam has started allowing single barrel picks of Knob Creek to be released above their standard 120 proof.

Got this Jay West pick today, 9+ years and 125.9 proof. I'm banking on it being a banger like most of Jay's picks have been.

Jake, I haven't opened the latest Booker's (25-02) yet, so I can't speak to it.

The newest Little Book uses brown rice in the mash bill. They used it in Chapter 4, and I wasn't a fan.

My favorite ryes are the 10 year Whistlepig single barrels at this point. Sazerac is a lot cheaper, but you get what you pay for?

Good suggestion for a tasty and affordable rye.

I'd have to second Sazerac. It's been a while since I've bought some. It definitely seems to be on the shelves all the time and at a decent price.

I bought one at TW and am looking forward to cracking it open.
