• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Fuente Fuente opus x

Opus are one of the extremely few that I will pay a small amount over MSRP. Trying to battle with other guys to find the things have turned me off to them in the past, but if I have to pay a buck more a cigar to just get them, I'm fine with that.

Still haven't been around long enough for the 6 months. :(

    Newbie in CC world

All of the above listed are awesome smokes. Also, I will throw in the Monte #2, #4 and #5. H. Upmann Magnum series are all good, RyJ Short Churchill's are one of my favorites, SLR Regio's are quite nice very nutty, imo anything Por Larranaga is a winner for the mild-medium side. I will also once...

Yup! Exactly right! I did that just the other day, as a matter of fact, and it works like a dream. :)

Cigar Caddy 15 Travel Maintenance ?

Ben of Nice Tight Ash, while on Stogie Geeks, had a way to work around that problem. He said that if you take the foot of the cello and let it hang over the edge of caddy when you close it, that it will open like a charm, but still seals to keep the RH right on.

    Oust fan

Andyman, you don't want a fan that is moving a lot of air. The idea behind a fan is that you aren't opening the humi it's in for long periods of time, and it just gently circulates air to keep the RH consistent throughout. You do NOT want air to move quickly by any means, as that can have...

    IS MY Rh TOO LOW!?

I think most of us keep our humi's around 63-65%, so you should be fine there. Try going down to your local shop and snagging a couple of empty cigar boxes and throwing them in there, that should help regulate it a little more.

Why is it when you don't have the $ deals come through

G1, this has been hitting me hard lately too. With our first kid on the way, expenses are high right now. But, it's also the time around here that it's sometimes decent to go out shooting, which is a lot more expensive than it should be. Then throw into the mix all the cigars being released...

    Any "Collectors" Out There?

^^^^ This ^^^^ A lot of the enjoyment for me comes from the sharing too. I like to share my htf sticks with other guys who enjoy them as well, which to me is perhaps better than me just smoking it. I've even given away cigars that I've only ever been able to get my hands on one of, but it was...

If you can find them, buy them!!

I have one sitting in my humi that I can't bring myself to try quite yet. I know I probably won't get another, and I absolutely love Illusione. If I found them like you did, I would snatch them up in a heartbeat, heh.

If you can find them, buy them!!

Specific Viajes and Opus', that's about it. There are some HTF sticks that I buy only for trades. Stuff I know damn near everybody else loves, but I don't really care for.

House panel warns FDA off regulating 'premium cigars'

All that sounds like is a CYA from the House of Reps when the FDA starts in on cigars. That way, when it starts happening and we e-mail them to tell them we are going to vote them out if there aren't changes, they can point to this and say, "Hey, we actually tried!"

Items from Geneva take about 10 days to get to Seattle, so probably give or take a few days on that time, depending on where you live.
