• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I really have to try one of these sometime, I hear nothing but good things about them.

What movie are you watching or watched?

Exactly! My wife and I were still talking about it the day after, which we rarely do with new movies.

Headed back to the US of A

Congrats, man! I feel you, my old job had me away from home for 4-8 weeks at a time, then home for 2 days, and out again. Only getting to see my wife and family for less than 12 days in a year wasn't what I call a good situation. That lasted about a year, made my money, got my experience, then...

    BOA ebanking

Been with BOA for 23 years now, and I haven't been happy with them yet. I need a nationwide account since my job is based on travel. I will admit, I do like their electronic side, it's actually quite extensive. But, if you have a choice, steer clear.

My SO went to Las Vegas and all I got were these lousy cigars

I can't wait to go to Las Vegas again. The last time I was there Casa Fuente didn't exist, heh.

Actually, I was really let down by this episode.

Yea, soap will turn me off of a cigar quicker than nearly any other flavor. Thanks for the review, Art.

I'm on pins and needles waiting! Just finished the 2nd book, and I can't wait to see how they do it on the show.

    What was that one cigar?

Oh man! *drool* Those are absolutely delicious! The last No 9 I had took me 2 hours 45 minutes to finish, lol, bliss the entire time.

Tasting notes on NHC Seleccion Limitada, Surrogates, etc.?

I don't think they have the pepper that a blue label has, but it definitely has power. I would give them a try before jumping on a box though. The first part had some pepper on it, but it faded fairly quickly and became quite smooth by the start of the 2/3.

    Por Larrañaga Petit Corona's?

Sadly, these seemed to get hit hard by that price increase a short while ago. I remember cabs going for under $200, now they're up over $250.

    Viaje Summerfest?

Bought one of the sixers, really looking forward to giving these a try.

Tasting notes on NHC Seleccion Limitada, Surrogates, etc.?

The Surrogates are fantastic, definitely worth a try! Buy that big sampler NHC has right now, you can give them all a try and decide for yourself. I think you're going to be very happy with them though.

    What was that one cigar?

There were two, actually. The first was a Padron 1926 No 2, and the second was a Trinidad Robusto Extra. The Padron was the first "good" cigar I ever tried, which made me wonder if there were others that tasted this good. So, I ordered the Trinidad, smoked it, and that was it. Those two cigars...

BOTL™ 2012 Lancero by Drew Estate

No, no, no, people are just getting antsy is all, you didn't do a single thing wrong. Personally, I'd rather we gain some good new members than get a single cigar. Knowledgeable members being added to the fold would be worth far more than tasting a cigar that I haven't ever had, lived just fine...
