• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Decided to try my hand at a custom camo paint job on my paintball gun. I'm happy with how it came out, not the best one out there, but it works for me. :)

    Questions about the FFPs

The loose draw is very normal. Sounds like you may have heated it up a bit towards the end, which would cause the "mushy" feeling. That's easy to do with the loose draw.

    Lp # 9 -- meh

It wasn't a silly topic, bro. I completely understand posting about a cigar you didn't care for, and if more people had done just that, I could have saved myself some money in the long run. In my opinion, it is JUST as important, if not more so, to throw the bad experiences out there for...

    Show/List your latest NC Purchase

Lol, Dave, you're a baaaaaaad man! We better get some cigar porn posts out of you! Nah, I don't think you're bragging. When some guys retire they buy themselves a big RV, a car or some other item that they have been wanting. These are actually a hell of a lot less than what I've seen other...

    Wine-a-dor Questions

Sure, it's possible. But, I've read that severely limits that specific piece of woods ability to regulate humidity on any level. Also, the stain releases fumes for a VERY long time after you can no longer detect it, especially the amount of staining that would be required to reach a "black" finish.

    DPG With a Green Band?

Very true, run into the same thing at my local. But, I've never seen UV damage turn a blue band into a bright green one. It seems they have the propensity to turn green, most likely via leaching of the gold leaf used on the band into the vegetal mixture used as ink on many cigar bands. But...

    DPG With a Green Band?

I just did the same. I could see how the color could change to green from blue over the years, but I would think there would've been a mention of this sort of thing somewhere. If it is an original green band, then you have what I can only guess is an extremely rare cigar.

If you are into science...this is worth reading

We dealt with this problem in school, and the reason it was thought to have no answer was because it would need a "perfect situation" for the numbers to make any sense. I hate to break it to the kid, but the math behind this problem was solved at Stanford University in a class I attended, but it...
