BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)
I haven't smoked a prerelease recently, but from what I remember this fresh one was spicier and definitely stronger. Very good cigar for when you are looking for a nice full strength smoke, but personally I still like the dirty rat better IMHO. -

lol, I called earlier this week as well. the Bethasda store has a wait list you can give your info to get on and said their were "promised" to get another shipment within the next two weeks, but all of the first shipment went to the dc store (which the dc store said they sold out within an hour... -

Anybody have any luck with UF-13's today?
Neptune cigars has unicos in stock, dirty rats, ffps, uf13s. two per each per customer http://www.neptunecigar.com/av/cigars-brands-liga_privada_unicos.aspx Corona cigars do not list unicos on their site, you have to call them, but I heard they are sold out now -

lol, thanks for the heads up! Rule #1 when hunting ligas: If a store gets ANY liga privadas in stock you always ask if they have any Unicos you are looking for, that is the time you will have the best chance to grab one -

I'm just glad not very many things are produced, marketed, distributed, sold, and controlled like cigars are. I think the cigar industry would benefit from learning a couple things from the wine industry, IF applied correctly. -

Craig is right that no matter what, someone will be upset. Either at DE for not being able to make enough for everyone or to the store who didn't sell it to them. Personally I'm ok with employees being given the opportunity to smoke one or two, but not purchase anymore. And I mean smoke them... -

I don't like it, but I don't blame the employee. I would do it if I was in their shoes. I don't like it when a store sells all of their good stuff to one or two people, whether it's an employee, members, or just a big spender. I understand the thought process for it, but it's a turn off to me...
