• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Black Marks on Heartfelt Beads

It's normal...kinda. The beads "breath" so tyo speak so when they are sucking up humidity they also pick up whatever is in the air. I've had mine turn amber before because of the cedar plus the oils from the cigars themselves. Ain't no big deal.... -Rob

    Anyone like CZ Pistols?

I've had my CZ75 for around 8-9 years. It's a great feeling handgun and pretty robust. It's not a comfortable carry weapon because it's all steel but it's extremely reliable and accurate on the plates.

    Pairing Single Malts with Cigars....

I like a good sherried highland with a Bolivar. They seem to compliment the line a lot. Bourbon casked seem to play well with PLPC's. Lagavulin goes really well with Partagas Coronas.

    Humidor Jars

You are a freaking genius Ron! I have one of the Pre Embargo office jars that I use a lot. It's got a really tight seal, but I don't want to keep too many cigars in it cause I use a small shot glass of beads in there. Thanks for the tip!

    Scored on Freecycle!

Not a bad idea! I'll have to keep an eye out, been cruising ebay looking for a smallish humidor for a bro-in-law. I've dumped a lot of mooch sticks on him but he's not gotten around to geting a humi yet.

Aside from the bait, everyone needs to sign up for this. Membership is going to go far n regards to having a voice in the future. Think of every name in membership being like a signature on a petition...in fact it is just like that. It's hard to believe that not everyone isn't already signed...

Absolutely nothing wrong with Jura. I take it you're talking about the 10? Try the Aberfeldy 12. Close to the same price...within $7-9 buckaroos....worth it if you ask me.
