BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Funny that this thread appeared today, I'm sending a package to an APO tomorrow, trying to print everything at home now. Reading the restrictions I see the following: In it is says that "Cigarettes and other tobacco products are prohibited." am I misunderstanding something?- MoJo

A stupid question
Being that beads and boveda packs are pretty fool proof it's hard to imagine that they are the issue. Since it's winter time I would think that the ambient RH is actually lower so a leak is unlikely, maybe you had a humidity speak in your humidor before and the wood hasn't adjusted yet? If you... -

IMO, you can put your smokes in there now with the proper humidification, but will have to take them out when your shelves come in and wait for your shelves to be properly seasoned. You don't want your smokes to be in there the same time as all the unseasoned cedar -

A few online vendors have them in stock so you can find them if you're looking. I might get one eventually just to try it out, but there are so many other cigars that are coming out soon that I'm holding out for so not really planning on buying these unless they start to get really good reviews... -
Am I Overreacting?
I agree with what others have suggested, you could also offer to let him store his cigars in your humidor so he doesn't have to buy the whole starter kit and worry bout maintenance etc.- MoJo
