• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    XIKAR Portable Ash Can

It looks and sounds cool, but without seeing it in use, I'm not sure I'll ever understand exactly how it works...

    Elegant Cigar Lighter

Some really nice lighters mentioned here. I use a XiKar EX (the windproof soft flame) most of the time. I want to get my hands on one of those Savinelli Double Coronas too. If I had all the money in the world I'd invest in a S.T.Dupont Ligne II. Alas, I am poor.

Smok Into Oblivion: Cohiba Siglo I

Most definitely. At that price, you really can't beat them for a small cigar.

    Tatuaje P4

Looking forward to seeing how these compare to the new Sumatra wrapped sticks. Thanks for the review Marty.

    La Sirena

I've smoked the Churchill (Trident), and Corona now, and while I actually really enjoyed them both quite a bit, the Corona was my preference as well.

    Montecristo #2 Wrapper Color

Hmm. Someone invite my newbie ass too please. As for wrapper color variation, Jim is right, they aren't supposed to vary much at all within a single box, especially a dress box. And again, like he said, I use a retailer who grades their product based on quality of construction, wrapper...

    Montecristo Club cigarillos

Never smoked one, but have always heard that while they are made with Cuban tobacco, they don't really do much for most people. One dimensional, boring, and sometimes even bad.

    Show/List your latest CC Purchase

Nice. Some of my favorites, and definitely sticks that fit the "old reliable" definition. Great pick ups!

    San Cristóbal de La Habana

I have never smoked one, but have a single El Principe in my humidor, and I was sort of bummed when I got it... a fair amount of green in the wrapper. Going to give it a LOT of time to make up for that before I burn it I think. This is definitely a brand that has always interested me, largely...

When do you do most of your smoking?

Lately I have been smoking less, as my schedule has been bonkers with my new job, but I have had some good smokes on weekends, in the early afternoon. Great way to spend a beautiful afternoon.

Do you smoke in your car or truck while driving?

I do 75% of my smoking in my truck, but 99.9% of the time I'm not driving. I just sit in it, parked, in my driveway, and smoke, as it is the only place I have to really sit and smoke, other than a B&M,or at the occasional party at a smoker's home...

Dont' get mad at me, I tried.

One thing you can do is buy from B&Ms in other places. Shops like Burning Leaf, Empire Cigars, and Buckhead Cigar all do plenty of business with customers in other places, and are popular places to order from within the online cigar community. Heck, Buckhead even posts deals regularly on twitter.

    Xikar Lowering Prices - Newsfeed

I think they are good, inexpensive smokes. Didn't know Jesus Fuego made them. Interesting.

    Glennmorrangie nectar d'or w/ cigars?

Never had the Nectar D'or with a stick, but the Quinta Ruban (Port finished) is really great with cigars, since it has a distinct dark chocolate and dark fruit note that really compliments a lot of sticks.

    smell of another cigar?

Honestly, I always used to love the smell of a lit cigar (like when my dad or Grandfather smoked them) when I was a kid, and have this olfactory memory of what it was like, and now that I smoke cigars all the time, I can't smell that smell anymore, even if I'm in a room with someone smoking and...

Fausto by Tatuaje - It's the T110 Blend

Way bigger than Corona Gorda actually. Corona Gorda would be 5 5/8 x 46. Really looking forward to this, everything from the blend to the packaging has my interest. Love the band especially.
