  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Cigar Pronunciation... a rant.

    I have the "benefit" of not knowing any other cigar smokers around here, so I rarely ever hear any cigar names pronounced, just see them in writing. I did however, meet a tobacconist who pronounced Oliva as "olive-uh" and had to ask around to make sure I wasn't the one pronouncing it wrong.

    "The Walking Dead" On AMC

    I was fine with the season opener. I like how they are taking their time with the story & not trying to rush too many things in at once. Just like Breaking Bad started this season slow, but kept building up to an amazing finale; I think that's where Walking Dead is headed.

    One of my favorite bands. I can honestly say that to this day, Kurt Cobain's was the only celebrity death I ever got really saddened by. Their music helped me through some pretty rough, depressing years. Yes, Nirvana wasn't the only band of that style, but it was Nevermind that opened the door...

    A great tip for those of you who's wives won't let you smoke in the house, or need to shower/ change clothes, etc: First, search around the house until you find one of these: Then, break glass and reclaim contents. Finally, light up and enjoy! :)

    With small trimmings like that, you'd probably be better off rolling them into cigarettes if you really have your heart set on smoking them.

    I used to have a lot of hobbies: Texas Hold 'Em Pool Darts Reading (mostly non fiction) Movies Video games Hunting Hiking Fishing Etc... Now, as my kids are getting older, I usually just go to work to relax.
