BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Problem seasoning with Heartfelt beads
The humi needs more humidity, it's not properly seasoned yet. The wood is sucking all of the humidity out of the beads. Put a couple shot glasses or a bowl of distilled water in there and wait a few weeks. The humidity will come up by then and you can put the beads and smokes in there. -

Yes, yes, yes!!!!!! Please listen to Ron, there is no need to wipe down a humi. Take your time and season it correctly!!!! -

First, Welcome to BOTL! Before going much further, is this a new humi? Has it been seasoned or is this a problem that has just started to happen after using the humi with no problems? -

I've seen lots of cigars that have bands that look like my daughter made them. Smoked GREAT and were definately the real deal. The bands are not the be all and end all of telling if a cigar is legit or not. It is one factor however. The proof lies in the way they taste, and always trust your... -
