• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Kentucky Fire Cured MUWAT

Nice job on this review. I smoked my first one last night (literally, rott). The smell was strange, and the cigar was one-dimensional and rather boring until the last two inches. It opened up a bit at the end and was pretty good. The aroma of the unlit cigar is nothing like the actual flavor...

    Cigars of the year (2013)

Tat Regio Reserva was the best cigar I smoked this year, but there were many, many winners. Cigars just keep getting better and better :)

    Revisiting the Viaje DES 2

You nailed it, Master Shake. If he releases a winner, it is almost immediately sold out. Cigar smokers are the most astute consumers of all :)

Davidoff cigars, so you smoke them?

I have tried many Davidoffs during the last several years (probably 5 or 6 different blends). I was not impressed with any considering the price point. However, my palate is not as refined as some. I know a couple of people whom I trust who say Davidoffs are the best mild/medium cigars one can...

    Revisiting the Viaje DES 2

Typical viaje experience, in my experience. Sometimes they are great, and sometimes they disappoint. I don't buy Viaje anymore, but I'm quite certain that Andre will release some winners down the line.

    Best wrapper in the biz

Indeed it is. I was just wondering if he took the photo himself and if there are any stories to go along with it. I have never seen that photo before. Great pic.

    Best wrapper in the biz

Not a big LFD guy, but they make some great looking sticks. Several years ago when I started smoking cigars, I bought the Mysterio samplers (both blends). I could not believe how cool they looked...took them out frequently just to look at them :). Immaculate, oily, and deep, rich hues. They...

Anyone know where I can get this glue?

I received an email from Heartfelt. He hopes to get it in stock within a few weeks. I can only hope that it happens. I'm not a cigar pro like many here, but I can assure you that this stuff is wonderful. If it becomes available (fingers crossed), I shall buy two. The first one lasted 5 years, so...

Anyone know where I can get this glue?

Thanks. I have plenty of pectin concoctions. This is stuff is much better. I was just wondering if anyone had any info about it. This little bottle has saved quite a few smokes for me as I keep my humi at low 60s. Pectin is much thicker, and gooey, and less effective...in my experience.
