  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Cigars getting too firm

    IMO, it's at least 3% too high. When I leave any cigar at 70% and try to smoke it...it feels wet to me. Try it a little lower for a few weeks. It won't kill your cigars and will likely help. I keep most of my collection at 62%. :)

    Yeah...probably too much humidity. Honestly, I think NC smoke better at 67%.

    I have never smoked one of these but they can still be found at certain vendors...pricey though. I have definately heard alot of mixed reviews on the C. Thanks for the terrific review! :)

    Yeah brian...I checked out your site first before I bought one but only seen french presses. Great coffee maker. I never use creamer anymore. Much better taste. :)

    From my understanding a white ash indicates more complete combustion....which usually indicates superior construction, draw, and adequate aging. I haven't personally seen much of a correlation but I know guys with alot more experience than myself who believe this to be true. I will have to...

    No...it's not too late. But, keep in mind it can take up to two weeks to build immunity...so it would protect you during the worst month which tends to be Feb.

    I work in the health field...and got the flu 3 years in a row before I would take a flu shot. (Yes, I'm that stubborn...lol). Now, that I take my own advice I have done very well. I get it every year now.

    It takes your body about 2 weeks to build up antibodies to the flu shot. Contrary to popular belief the flu shot can't give you the flu (though it can make you sick for a night) So, it sounds like you had really bad luck. Next season...I would suggest getting the flu shot mid...
