• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I like Tatuaje stuff, but damn....

I do really like the new Dupont set. Unfortuneately the collector in me say buy it but the smoker says buy cigars instead. I think a lot of if I would buy them would depend on if I was lucky enough to get a coffin of the Face. Couldn't buy it if I didn't get the coffin. Posted via Mobile Device

Long term storage and flavor loss

Part of it for me as well isa the Maker. Some age their tobacco longer then others before rolling, others age after rolling and some release fresher sticks. As much as well all talk about aged sticks being better that depends more on the person. MRN talks about Spanish and Cuban tastes prefering...

New Canadian Member needs your help!

It all depends on where you are at. The taxes are different for each province. And really unfortuneately the real answer comes down to they can charge you whatever they feel like that day.

If YOU could blend the next Tatuaje LE...What would it be?

Cazadores reserva, and I don't mean broadleaf reserva. Here's to hoping that Pete saved the best 100 boxes of the original release and has had them aging quietly in sealled Jars. True reserva best tobacco available for the vitola then some extra age :)

    10ct. Boxes

I like the !0ct boxes and have been loving the cardboard packed stuff lately as well. My love for the Cardboard has been largely due to the fact that they don't sell well and have been lucky enough to find many well aged fantastic smokes in them. Last year our Canadian distributors had 03 HdM...

    30-countTravel Case : difficult choice

How has no one brought up boveda's? I find they seal so well that anything else just get in the way. I threw out the humidifier that came with mine and soley rely on 2 boveda's! The boveda's have lasted over a year now so think they are perfect.

    Money is not an object

Dunhills and Davidoffs from the 70's, sorry skip that, any great premiums from Cuba from the 50's to 80's. Just something about a superbly aged cigar. For NC's no clue what I would change as I am with others when they say they smoke what they want when they want.

    Zino Platinum Crown

Yep that is it. It reallly just does not agree with me for some reason. There only has to be a little bit of that shroomy taste hiding in there for me to pick it out as well. I can't say anything bad about Davidoff other then they are just not for me.

    Zino Platinum Crown

I have. I was quite excited to as well because I had heard many say that it lacked the taint of all of Kelner's other creations. Wasn't a bad stick but the taint was still there. Did my part and tried one but will not be searching for more.

    Zino Platinum Crown

I keep trying different Davidoff stuff hoping to find something that doesn't have the Kelner taint to it. Still no luck. I will say generally Kelner produces incredibly well made sticks just the one wierd taste in all of them that turns me off. Posted via Mobile Device

    Opus Hype...?

One of those things where you have to smoke what you enjoy. There is nothing wrong with not enjoying a cigar. I personally love opus but get very little out of Padron or Cohiba and really dislike Davidoff. We will all get different things out cigars and even some of the great ones we wont like...

    A. Fuente Anejo - Cameroon Shark

Glad to see you around Duane. And you put it a litlle mildly as to how rare they really are. They may not have been so hard for a long term botl like yourself but for many they very hard. Love the fact that you weren't expecting it to be the end all be all in cigar. And. With that took the rare...
