BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Here's another question for you gents: After rolling a cigar, we all agree it needs a bit of rest. Is that because we misted the leaves and that starts some reaction between the leaves? I'm sure many of us are rolling with leaf we've stored for more than 3, 4, or 5 months already. But they are...- Jim D

My smoke of the day, born on 12/5/16. This was a 50:50 mix ligero and seco. Pretty good. Makes me wonder how a bit of Brazilian viso, or maybe the Honduras-Habano-Filler would be in this mix...- Jim D

Rehydrating Bovedas
Bringing this old thread back to life... I've been using a small metal cup with DW and a Boveda on top of it in my humidor to recharge. Of course the pack recharges in the middle quickly but not the edges so much. They stay pretty hard this way. Now I place the pack off center on the little... -

Does your doctor know you smoke cigars?
It seems from the "smoke of the day" thread that it may be more accurate to say off the record, you only smoke 5 or 6 a day. Intermittently taking breaks to breathe once in a while.:cigar:- Jim D

I have felt this way about my sticks for a while. Smoked ROTT or within 3 days, they're ok. After that they will suck until they're 3 months old or older. Some are still "improving/suckling less" after 4 months rest... Of course some may just suck forever. Then as y'all have noted, after I...- Jim D

What is this on my leaf?
New leaf question for you guys, what do you all make of this? This is LO aged Nic Seco that I've had since I started rolling last year (spring 2016 sometime). None of the others in this pack have looked like this and it is dry as can be. Any thoughts?- Jim D
